Description - Art of living in France

Description of activity "Art of living in France"  :   On both sides of the river from Vienne to Avignon, the rich vistas and lands of the Côtes du Rhône offers its visitors a continuous series of 9 colourful tourist routes. The Saffron route runs

alongside the Rhône following its characteristic banks up to the Gorges of the Ardèche. There, the Coral route leads you past caves, gorges and dry stone shelters. Then, at the very gateway to Provence the Sepia, Mauve, Emerald, Indigo, etc. routes take up the relay to lead you through Provencal Drôme and its echoes of Roman civilisation where both nature and history abound side by side. There, in the high lying villages perched around the Dentelles de Montmirail you will have the thrill of discovering their wines. You will continue your meander using the Purple route, which was the birthplace of the appellation, to end your journey following the Azure route on stands proud Avignon, Capital of the Côtes du Rhône.
Côtes du Rhône A land of welcome
In 2004, Inter Rhône continues its quality of wine tasting cellar welcome initiative. Using audits carried out by a specialist agency we have been able to classify wine making cellars according to three grades of quality:
A quality welcome An 'at-your-service'welcome A red carpet welcome

The marriage of food and wine
A good meal loses some of its flavour if it isn't accompanied by a few good bottles. But marrying food and wine is not child's play. The French crus, with their wealth of diversity of origin, make every alliance possible and develop every shade of flavour.
Fine foods in the vineyards
What could be more tempting after tasting several styles of wine, than prolonging this treat for the taste buds with the exploration of culinary specialities which these wines often accompany so extraordinarily well?
The southern wine route
From Vienne to Avignon, the steep slopes lining the Rhône provide the legendary vintages of the Côtes du Rhône. Further south, the sunny wines of Provence take over.
