General description  :   The ' Direction du Tourisme et des Congrès ' is a Monaco Government Department. Its mission is the promotion of tourism to the Principality of Monaco. The purpose of the Covention Bureau is not only to promote Monaco's facilities for conventions, seminars, exhibitions and trade shows, but also to ensure that it remains up-to-date with the latest technological advances across a wide range of areas in order to respond to clients' needs effectively. The rapid evolution in communications methods and concepts requires the team to be constantly developing its knowledge in order to provide the best advice to clients, both in terms of organisation and of technical requirements, according to the specific needs and objectives of each event. The Tourism and Convention Bureau's major advantage is the flexibility it has to be proactive, and its capacity to adapt its service to the needs of its clients. The team are happy to work in conjunction with local suppliers. Their mission is to offer clients the best possible service, whatever level of involvement on their part is required, for example: - General advice regarding the conception of an event. - A summary of how best to maximise on the facilities available in the Principality for a particular event. - Coordination of the relevant convention facilities based on the requirements of the client brief. Finally, the team at the Tourism and Convention Bureau is fully equipped to provide, if required, a complete tailor-made event organisation service for organisers.  


Description - Convention Bureau in France  
Description of activity "Convention Bureau in France"  :   Monaco is a superb base for congresses, conferences and exhibitions. The Convention Centre and the International Conference Centre cater for 480 and 1100 people. To complement these the Forum Grimaldi will open in June 2000, providing three auditoria seating 3100 people, 25 break-out rooms and a total of 10000 sq. m. of exhibition space.
