Umberto Eco’s exhibition Mille e tre will be at the Louvre (Paris) from 7 November 2009 to 8 February 2010
The Louvre invites Umberto Eco and presents his exhibition on the main theme of “The Infinity of Lists”. From Antiquity to the modern era, “lists” have always been a part of life: shopping lists, lists of figures, lists of colours – and in ancient times, lists of battles. Which is why many artists take this theme as the basis for their creative processes. Over nearly three months, visitors will have the opportunity to see a whole series of ancient and contemporary graphic works on this theme.
In addition, performances, sessions of music on film, readings, concerts with projections and colloquiums will be held.
